I am sorry to say that our beloved Hamish had to be put to sleep on Friday. I had to make the decision on Thursday night when I realised that there was no hope left for him and to keep him living would not be fair on him.
It was a terrible phone call to make but it had to be done. It was equally painful as today is Struan's birthday and there was a birthday party on Saturday which, on reflection, was probably better as it took our minds in another direction!

Sorry this is the first chance I've had to scroll through & get an update on Hamish... how very sad I was to read this post...
I will so miss him coming to greet me when I come for my next visit... he was always so warm & loving...
I know just how much you will all miss him & never forget the fun times that you shared over the years.
