What a day this has been...a minute ago I could have sworn I saw snow flakes outside!!!

Telfords Direct have always been noted for the more unusual items that we sell and for many years charms have always been popular. I have always tried to update these but I now think that people maybe don't want to buy 6 charms with the same theme...here is where you come in....as the charms are made up individually it doesn't really matter to me what goes into the pack...at the moment a pack of charms costs £3.15..working out at 53p per charm....do you think that if I were to offer individual charms at say 55p people would be interested?...as crafters your opinions would be really helpful.

Here is one of the newest charms

One of Struan's teachers is moving house next week so I thought I would use this great charm to make her a card.

I have taken a tall thin white card and cut out a frame of a door (I have done this on the Cricut - but you could easily do it with a ruler and craft knife!) I have also cut out a window in the white card and edged it with double sided tape. Charms are quite difficult to suspend with wire so here I have used some silver cord - stuck it onto the double sided tape and then stuck on the door frame - adding a brad as the handle.

The Cricut has been well used as here I have cut out the house sentiment then embossed it with crystal embossing powder giving a shimmer finish.

Hope you like it!

Have fun

I think the hardest thing about selling prices at the 50p mark is justifying the postage charge. It'll probably cost you the same to post one charm as it does six but proportionally it make the single item a lot dearer.

I have the same problem with paper/card/foam pads, etc.

Hope this helps.

Love this card and the charm, I have to buy my charms when I go back to the UK as postage to Bahrain can get expensive.
